1. 머리

 

I feel dizzy.(어지러워요.)

I feel fuzzy(어지러워요.)

I have a headache(머리가 아파요.)

I have a slight headache((머리가 약간 아파요.)

I have a terrible headache.(머리가 심하게 아파요.)

I have a splitting headache.(머리가 찌르듯이 아파요.)

I can't stand this headache(머리가 아파서 견딜 수가 없어요.)

I have throbbing headache.(머리가 쑤시듯이 아파요.)

I have severe migraine.(심한 편두통이 있습니다.)

I've been suffering from migraine 5 years. (편두통으로 5년 동안 고생하고 있습니다.)

I have a smarting pain in the back of my head. (뒤통수에 예리한 통증이 있습니다.)

There is a throbbing pain in my temples (관자놀이가 지끈지끈 아픕니다.)

I have severe dandruff.(머리에 비듬이 심합니다.)

I had a head injury in a car accident. (자동차 사고로 머리를 다쳤습니다.)

I hit my head against a big rock.(머리를 큰 바위에 부딪쳤습니다.)

There was internal bleeding in my brain.(뇌출혈이 있었습니다.)

My cheeks burn.(얼굴이 화끈거립니다.)

I have too many pimples on my face.(얼굴에 여드름이 너무 많아요.)

I can't get rid of the pimples on my face.(얼굴에 여드름을 없앨 수가 없어요.)

I have a puffy face.(얼굴이 부었습니다.)

 

2. 목(NECK)

 

목구멍(throat)

편도선(tonsil) = 임파선(lymphatic gland)

 

가래(phlegm, sputum)

침(saliva)

묽은 가래는 thin sputum,

된 가래는 thick sputum,

피석인 가래는 bloody phlegm

 

Do you have a sore throat?(목이 아프십니까?)

I have a sore throat.(목이 아픕니다.)

My throat feels raw.(목이 쓰라립니다.)

I have an irritated throat.(목이 따끔거립니다.)

My throat hurts when I swallow.(삼킬 때 목이 아픕니다.)

My throat burns when I cough.(기침을 하면, 목이 화끈거립니다.)

It's difficult to talk.(말하기가 힘이 듭니다.)

I think my tonsils are swollen.(편도선이 부은 것 같습니다.)

I'm always thirsty.(늘 목이 마릅니다.)

I have a rough throat.(목이 까칠까칠 합니다.)

The back of my throat is itchy and tickles.(목의 안쪽이 간질간질 거립니다.)

It feels as if something were in my throat.(목에 뭔가 걸린 것 같습니다.)

Please remove the fishbone stuck in my throat.(목에 걸려있는 생선가시를 빼주세요.)

I have an uncomfortable feeling deep in my throat. (목 안쪽이 불편합니다.)

My voice gets hoarse.(목이 쉬어요.)

For the past few days I've been hoarse.(지난 며칠 동안 계속 목이 쉬었어요.)

If I speak for any length of time, I get hoarse. (말을 얼마동안 하고나면, 목이 쉽니다.)

If I talk too much or speak in loud voice, I get hoarse easily. (말을 많이 하거나 큰 소리로 말하면 목이 쉽게 쉽니다.)

I cough up phlegm.(가래가 나옵니다.)

I cough up thin sputum.( 묽은 가래가 나옵니다.)

I cough up thick sputum.(진한 가래가 나옵니다.)

I cough up bloody phlegm.(피 섞인 가래가 나옵니다.)

I feel like sputum is sticking in my throat.(목에 가래가 걸린 것 같아요.)

I always salivates.(항상 침을 흘립니다.)

I strained my neck and can't move my head. (목을 삐어서 머리를 움직일 수가 없어요.)

My neck is so stiff that I can't move. (목이 너무 뻐근해서 움직일 수가 없어요.)

I got crick in my neck while sleeping.(잠자는 동안 목에 쥐가 났어요.)

I have a sharp pain if I try to turn my neck.(목을 돌리려하면 통증이 심합니다.)

I was wondering if something may be wrong with the neck bones. (목뼈가 잘못된 것 같습니다.)

My neck is so painful that I can't turn it.(목이 나무아파서 돌릴 수가 없어요.)

My neck snapped when I suddenly put on the brakes (갑자기 브레이크를 밟았을 때 목을 다쳤습니다.)

I have a hard lump in my neck.(목에 딱딱한 혹이 생겼습니다.)

 

3. 가슴( Chest )

 

가슴(breast, chest, bosom, bust[여자])에는 여러 가지의 영어단어가 사용되는데

breast는 특히 가슴의 앞쪽유방을 가리키며 그러나 부인에게는 bosom을 사용하는 편이 좋다.

chest는 가슴 전체를 말한다.

 

I have pain in the chest.(가슴이 아파요.)

My breast are tender(젖가슴이 아파요.)

There is a sudden sharp pain in my chest. (가슴에 갑자기 예리한 통증이 있습니다.)

I have a prickling pain in my chest.(가슴이 따끔 거립니다.)

My chest throbs.(가슴이 쑤십니다.)

It's hard to breathe.(숨쉬기가 힘듭니다.)

I have heavy feeling in my chest.(가슴이 답답합니다.)

I get out of breath when I walk a little.(조금만 걸어도 숨이 찹니다.)

I have a lump in my breast.(유방에 혹이 하나 있습니다.)

I feel as if I have a convulsion in my chest.(가슴에 경련이 일어나는 것 같습니다.)

I have a heart disease.(심장병이 있습니다.)

There is an occasional pause in my pulse.(맥박이 간헐적으로 멈춥니다.)

I have heartburn.(가슴앓이를 앓고 있습니다.)

I feel blocked up in the chest.(가슴이 갑갑합니다.)

My heart goes pit-a-pat.(심장이 두근두근 거립니다.)

I seem to have the symptoms of pneumonia.(폐렴증상이 있는 것 같습니다.)

I have attacks of asthma.(천식이 발병하였습니다.)

I suffer from chronic asthma.(만성천식으로 고생하고 있습니다.)

I have a past history of tuberculosis.(과거에 결핵을 앓았던 병력이 있습니다.)

I suffered from T.B in my early 20's.(20대 초반에 결핵으로 고생했습니다.)

 

4. 허리, 등(Back)

 

허리의 영어표현은 back, lower back, waist, small of the back등으로 표현하고,

등은 back으로 표현하면 된다.

 

I have sever pain in my back.(허리가 심하게 아픕니다.)

My back hurts sometimes.(가끔 허리가 아픕니다.)

I have pulling pain in my back.(허리에 당겨지는 통증이 있습니다.)

When I tried to lift a heavy thing, I felt my back snap. (무거운 것을 들어 올릴 때 허리가 부러지는 것 같았습니다.)

My back itches.(등이 가렵습니다.)

I have a rash on my back.(등에 발진이 생겼습니다.)

I have stubborn boil on my back.(등에 딱딱한 종기가 생겼습니다.)

I suffer from back pain.(요통으로 고생하고 있습니다.)

I have lower back pain.(허리가 아픕니다.)

The lower part of my back hurts so much I can't move. (허리가 너무 아파서 움직일 수가 없어요.)

When I try to straighten my back, the pain hits me.(허리를 펴려고 하면 아픕니다.)

When I cough, my back hurts down here.(기침을 할 때 여기 아래쪽이 아픕니다.)

Is the spine or the hip bone fractured? (척추가 부러진 것입니까? 좌골이 부러진 것입니까?)

 

5. 어깨 (Shoulder)

 

My shoulders are stiff.(어깨가 뻐근합니다.)

My shoulders and arms hurt.(어깨와 팔이 아픕니다.)

I had a bad fall and put my shoulder out of joint. (심하게 넘어져서 어깨관절이 빠졌어요.)

Yesterday when I fell down the steps, I seem to have dislocated my shoulder. (어제계단에서 굴러서 어깨가 탈구된 것 같습니다.)

 

 

6. 손과 팔 (Hand and arm)

 

I got a splinter in my finger.(손가락에 가시하나가 박혔어요.)

I cut my hand with a knife.(칼로 손을 베었습니다.)

I've torn off a fingernail.(손톱이 떨어져 나갔습니다.)

I have a prickling sensation in my finger.(손가락이 따끔거립니다.)

I got stung by an insect.(벌레에 물렸습니다.)

I have blister on my palm.(손바닥에 물집이 생겼습니다.)

I burned my hand while cooking.( 요리를 하다가 손에 화상을 입었어요.)

I have sever frostbite on my hands.(손에 심한 동상을 입었습니다.)

My hands often get numb.(손이 자주 마비됩니다.)

I broke my arm.(팔이 부러졌습니다.)

My arm hurts so much I can't move.(팔이 너무 아파서 움직일 수가 없어요.)

I can't lift my arm.(팔을 들 수가 없어요.)

The muscles of arms and legs ache.(팔다리 근육이 아파요.)

I can't stretch my arm.(팔을 펼 수가 없어요.)

My tennis elbow began to ache again.(팔꿈치가 다시 아프기 시작합니다.)

I dislocated my elbow joint.(팔꿈치 관절이 탈구 되었습니다.)

 

7. 발과 다리 (Foot and Leg)

 

I have a sore foot.(발이 아픕니다.)

I have cramps.(쥐가 납니다.)

My legs feel numb so I can't walk.(다리가 마비되어 걸을 수가 없어요.)

I have swollen foot.(발이 부었어요.)

My legs are swollen.(다리가 부었어요.)

I sprained ankle.(발목을 삐었습니다.)

I broke my leg.(다리가 부러졌습니다.)

 

8. 관절 (Joints)

 

I sometimes have a pain in my knee.(때때로 무릎이 아픕니다.)

My joints ache.(관절이 아픕니다.)

I have a pain in my hip joints.(고 관절이 아픕니다.)

All my joints are stiff and aching.(모든 관절이 경직되고 아픕니다.)

My old rheumatism is bothering me again.(오래된 류머티즘이 또 나를 괴롭힙니다.)

I dislocated my left elbow joint.(왼쪽 팔꿈치 관절이 탈구 되었습니다.)
