Yes, I do remember when we first started out. We had absolutely nothing other than that old car with the four bald tires and a few suit cases full of clothing. I hardly had any civilian clothes due to just being mustered out of the military.

I used to call you everyday from work to remind you that you were my happy thought. Gosh, how long has that been?

Somehow my priorities changed along the way. Now all I think about is making the mortgage payment at the end of the month.

I just don't want to ever lose you.

That's what makes all this so very hard. Sometimes I despair in wondering if we could ever recapture what we had together so long ago. Our little boy came into our lives before we had our first anniversary.

애는 다 커서 대학 2학년이고 in his sophomore year at college, 난 흰머리가 나기 시작했어 My hair has started to gray. Somewhere along the way we started drifting away from each other.

I felt that I was always caught in the middle. 지후가 경찰서를 집 드나들 듯 할 때 우리 인생은 바닥이었잖아. it was the lowest point ever in our lives. I thought my world had fallen apart. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't cry over him. Could it be that we so concentrated on our son that we lost track of each other in the meantime? I guess I never told you that.  Perhaps I should have.

4 file

Did you know that once in awhile I drive by the old house? I wish I could tell you that I have nothing but pleasant memories of living there but that would be a lie. The only consolation we have is t...

Parents who hate math often fear raising kids who will feel the same. Many parents who loathe math fear raising kids who feel the same. Sue Shellenbarger on Lunch Break discusses how parents overcome math phobias. Tammy Jolley is one of them—"a horrible math-phobic," she says. After struggling through algebra and statistics in high school and college, helping her 9-year...
