iphos.jpg Apple's iPhone finally went on sale in Korea. The iPhone is a cell phone, an iPod, a video camera, and a mobile Internet               with email and GPS maps.

KT, the local mobile carrier which has              with Apple to sell services for the iPhone, said it had received 53,000             before the       . KT projects the sales of iPhone to fall anywhere between 200,000 to 500,000, which would be more than enough to                with the top products of such local handset giants as Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics.

The iPhone is              for its advanced Internet                such as email, Web browsing and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as the wealth of software provided through Apple's App Store.

The price of the 32-GB iPhone 3GS is set at 369,000 won (about $341) for customers               to monthly plans based on the basic rate of 45,000 won, KT said.

Subscribers paying 65,000 won in basic rates can buy the phone for 264,000 won, while premium users                   for the monthly plan based on a 132,000 won basic rate won't have to pay             for the handset for more data usage and multimedia features.

The 8-GB model will be priced at 132,000 won for subscribers who signed the 45,000 won basic rate, while those who agree to more expensive monthly plans will get the handset               .

아이폰은 이메일, 웹브라우징과 Wi-Fi 연결성 같은 발달된 인터넷 연결 능력과 애플의 앱 스토어를 통해 제공되는 많은 소프트웨어가 눈에 띈다.

"아이폰의 가장 특출한 점은 다양한 응용 프로그램에 있습니다,"라고 선주문한 한 대학생은 말한다. "국내 전화기의 경우, 전화기에 미리 설치된 프로그램들만을 사용합니다."

32-GB 아이폰 3GS의 가격은 기본 요금 45,000원 가입 고객들의 경우 369,000원 (약 $341)이라고 KT는 밝혔다.

기본 요금 65,000원을 내는 가입자들은 전화기를 264,000원에 살 수 있으며, 월 기본 요금 132,000원에 가입한 사람들은 더 많은 데이터 사용과 멀티미디어 사용을 위한 단말기 가격을 따로 내지 않아도 된다.

8-GB 모델은 기본 요금 45,000원에 가입한 사용자들에 대해 132,000원의 가격이며 더 비싼 월 기본 요금을 내는 사용자들은 단말기를 공짜로 받게 된다.
