A beautiful blue sky.
Sam and Lucy are on swings surrounded by MOTHERS and KIDS at the park.

Lucy  Daddy, why does the snow flake?
          아빠, 눈은 왜 날리는 거야?

Sam  Because snow... because snow flakes.
        왜냐면 눈은… 왜냐면 눈은 날리니까.

Lucy  Daddy, what is mustard made of?
         아빠, 겨자는 뭘로 만든 거야?

Sam  Because it's yellow ketchup.
         그건 노란 케쳡이라서.

Lucy  Daddy, why are men bald?
         아빠, 남자는 왜 대머리야??

Sam  Sometimes they're bald because their head is shiny...
and they don't have hair on it. So their head is just more of their face.

        가끔씩 머리가 빛나서..그리고 머리카락이 없어서 대머리야.
그래서 머리가 얼굴 대부분이야.

Lucy  Daddy, are ladybugs only girls or are there boys, too?
 And if there are, what are they called?

        아빠, 레이디 버그는 여자밖에 없어, 아님 남자도 있어?
 있다면 뭐라고 불러? 

Sam  Yeah, the Beatles. 응, 비틀즈야.

Lucy  Daddy, where does the sky end? Why does the moon follow me home?

Why is the sun orange? Where does the hour go in Daylight Savings?

Daddy, do I look more like you or Mommy?

Daddy... Do you think she'll ever come back?

   아빠, 하늘은 어디가 끝이야? 달은 왜 집까지 따라와?

   태양은 왜 오렌지색이야? 썸머타임하면 그 시간은 어디로 가는 거야?

   아빠, 난 아빠 닮았어, 엄마 닮았어?

   아빠…엄마가 돌아올까?

*Summer Time이라고 부르는데 정식 명칭은 Daylight Savings Time.

Sam  Paul McCartney lost his mother when he was little.
And John Lennon lost his mother when he was little.
Annie says that sometimes God picks the special people.
That's what Annie says.

       폴 매카트니는 어렸을 때 엄마가 죽었어. 존 레논도 어릴 때 엄마가 죽었고.

Lucy  Daddy, did God mean for you to be like this... or was it an accident?

Sam  What do you mean? 무슨 말이야?

Lucy  I mean you're different. 아빠가 달라서 그래.

Sam   But what do you mean? 근데 무슨 말이야?

Lucy  You're not like other daddies. 다른 아빠들 하고 다르다고.

Sam  I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry. 미안, 미안해. 그래, 미안해.

Lucy  It's OK, Daddy. Don't be sorry. I'm lucky.
 Nobody else's daddy ever comes to the park.

       괜찮아, 아빠. 미안해 하지마. 난 운이 좋아.
어떤 아빠도 공원에 오지 않잖아.

Sam  Yeah, we are lucky. Aren't we lucky? 
        그래, 우린 운이 좋아. 안 그래?

Waitress  Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity. Sunnyside up, not too runny.
 two sausage links. French pancakes instead of buttermilk.
 Fruit topping on the side. The Funny Face special.

            루티 투티 프레쉬 앤 프루티. 노른 자 위로, 흘러 내리지 않게.

Sam  You're getting a funny face. That's a wonderful choice.
