Thank you for giving me a chance to introduce myself. I am writing to you concerning the chief accountant position you are recruiting for. With my educational background, work experience and interests. I believe that I am well qualified for the position. I was born in Seoul on November 6, 19OO and graduated from OO University majoring in international trading.

I was brought up with a lot of tender loving care by my family and It helped me gain confidence and independence in my life. My father, who emphasizes an endeavoring life, always tries to look at bright side of life. Such his positive and progressive spirit has been a great stimulus to my life. People say that I look impetuous. I sometimes come to be hasty and tend to take quick action, which is my weak point. However, I am a very careful worker. I draw a plan before doing a work. In this way, I do my work with great attention to detail.

* a lot of tender loving care

"One man with courage makes a majority." I always keep this saying in my mind and try to do my best so that I wouldn't be sorry for something. It's one of my strengths for me to be frank even if I receive damage by doing that. When I make mistake, I always admit my fault and reflect on that. With my sincerity and diligence, I am said to be a faithful person by those around me.

* She needs a lot of tender loving care.

* be sorry for ~에 대해 후회하다

* a faithful person 신뢰가 가는 사람

In addition, When in university, I was selected president of an Alpine club. Former president resigned because a lot of members refused to follow the party line and some members left the club so I tried to inject some life into the club, getting new blood. And also, unlike the former president I hold meetings whenever we planed the events and schedules. In result, our membership was increased and all the members took an active part in the club. The club's success was largely due to the way it manages so I could learn to manage of the organization through the club activities.

* inject some life into the club

* get some new blood in the club

* follow the party line

* take an active part in …

At present, I am working OO Co.. I have drawn up Financial Statements, conducted internal auditing for three affiliated companies and a budgeting control, and by the experiences, I learned the valuable lesson that the teamwork is very important in an organization. I have a strong desire to work for your company with my professionalism and passion.

I think my accuracy in handling details will be proper qualifications for that position: my positive, active and cheerful personality will be of much help as well. If I can become a member of your company, doing my best and fulfilling my responsibility on my own initiative, I will devote all my energies to your company as well as to develop myself. I am ready for new challenges and sincerely hope that you will offer this opportunity to me soon. Thank you very much.

* of help to …

* on one‘s own initiative

The house was a bargain. The sun cast a halo about her lon...
