It is mother that I most admire in my family. My mother always led our family well in spite of poverty. My mother sacrificed her food and nice clothing to give us, the children, the best that she can give.

My mother used to discipline me with a whip whenever I have "committed faults". Back then, the whip was painful and I hated my mother for it, but now I know that it was all for me to be a better person. It was from her discipline that I matured in the right way.

There are five members in my family. They are father, mother, two younger brothers and myself.

My father's rather hard on his kids so since early childhood I have been taught that I should behave well. When I was a little boy, he used to discipline me. I fully understand that my father did so just because he loved me.

Unlike my father, my mother was always kind to me. I have two younger brothers. One is  four years old and the other is six years old. They attend kindergarten.

I was born in a small village in Busan, located at the mouth of Nakdong River with fresh air. I am the youngest of the family, which has the stern and smart father, the warm hearted and affectionate mother, and one elder sister.

In my childhood, my father was in poor health, so my mother had to hold herself liable for carnation cultivation as well as housework. For helping my mother, my sister and I packed carnations and did housework as well after school.
