Dylan: I think I'm gonna go wait in the car.

         차에 가서 기다릴까 봐요.

Phil : Okay. Hey, if you're on your way out, can you grab the garbage?

      그래, 참, 나가는 길에, 쓰레기 좀 가져 갈래?

Claire : I got it.  내가 했어.

Phil : Okay, we got it. He's a little jumpy.  그래, 됐어. 애가 좀 예민한데.

Claire : Oh, go figure a teenage boy doesn't want to hang out with his girlfriend's dad.

        뻔한 거 아냐, 십대 남자 아이들은 여자친구 아빠랑 어울리는 거 좋아하지 않아.

*used when you tell someone a fact and you then want to say that the fact is surprising, strange or stupid

Phil : I thought we were past all that. I'm all about... I'm all about taking it to the next level.

      그런 단계는 지난 줄 알았는데. 난 그냥…난 그냥 다음 단계로 넘어 가려는 거였는데.

Claire : Really? I thought you were all about keeping it real.

        정말?   난 그냥 자기가 태연한 척 한 것 같은데.

*If you tell someone that you're 'keeping it real', you just mean that you're 'taking it easy' or 'chilling'.

Phil : Yes, but the whole point of keeping it real is so you can take it to the next level. Did you really not know that?

        그래, 하지만 태연하게 행동하는 게 다음 단계로 넘어 가려고 그러는 거잖아.

Claire : You haven't exactly taken it to the next level with my dad.

        당신 아직 우리 아빠랑도 그렇게 못했잖아.

Phil : What are you talking about?  무슨 얘기야?

Claire : We've been married for 16 years, and you still walk on eggshells around him.

         우리 결혼 한지 16년이야.  근데 당신 아직도 아빠 앞에선 살얼음

걷듯 하잖아.

*walk on eggshells: to walk very carefully; to take steps gingerly.

Phil : What? Are you kidding? Jay and I are total buds.

       뭐?   농담하는 거야? 아버님이랑 난 완전 친구야.

 Jay : You... you want to just hang out? 같이 놀자고?  

Phil : Brought six friends, so that just... Let's...  친구 여섯도 왔어요, 그러니까 같이…
