[Personal Background]

My father, who engages himself in teaching at high school, is always showing us his best, even on trivial affairs. And my mother, now that she is a retired high school teacher, takes good and warm care of our family at all times. Under the wonderful parents, I have naturally been educated such as upright attitude of mind and diligence to do my best in everything.

[School Life]

By the time I graduated from high school, I decided to enter university to study Electronic Engineering with the thought that the technology is the only way for my country that has little natural resources to thrive. As a university student, I read many books on many different fields such politics, economics, social science and culture, besides studying my major. I also became aware of the importance of linguistic ability in global era. So I have tried to improve my language skill, and now I have little trouble in English reading, writing and speaking.

[Overseas Study]

The time that I flew to Canada and lived there, was my special experience, which made me understand phrase, "I can do it". While I was going to Canada by plane, which went via Japan and the U.S., I safely arrived in Canada in spite of delayed departure in the transfer station. I entered the country with my poor English without any troubles in the immigration. I lived by myself in Canada, working for my living expenses such as rent, transportation, studying, etc. I went to Europe with friends who were from other countries with the money that I saved while working.

[Weak/Strong Point]

My personality is to think positively and to try to see merits of something or someone rather than to see demerits of something or someone. This should help me to easily participate in a group and adapt to any atmospheres quickly. On the other hand, sometimes, I put a lot of thought into things that other people wouldn't spend much time on. However, my life in Canada made me take things easier than before, and I am trying to be large hearted in everything.

[Career Objective]

Your company is world renowned for being a leader in the field of electronics and flat panel television technology and becoming a part of that success is very appealing to me. I particularly like the philosophy of your company that places employees as your most valued asset. Also, the training given to employees, especially overseas training opportunities have really captured my interest. I feel that working for OO Company will allow me to fully apply my abilities and passion as well as help me to continue to grow as a professional in a nurturing and dynamic environment.

There is a proverb, "No sweat, no sweet". Meaning, nothing can be obtained without any effort. It is the valuable time in your life when you are faced with a difficult situation and you have to solve it in order to accomplish your goal. I am going out into the world as a beginner. I will do my job by working hard and making my best effort, learning by trial and error. I will continue to develop myself to be a person who is necessary in your company.
