성장과정

깊은 기독교 신앙을 가지고 계셨던 부모님의 돌보심 속에서 자랐습니다. 아버지는 이십대 초반부터 교편을 잡기 시작하셨고 어머니는 저를 바른 길로 인도하시기 위해서 제가 잘못을 저지를 때마다 엄하게 벌을 주셨습니다. 아버지는 항상 최고 보다는 최선을 강조하셨고, 다른 사람에게 영향을 받기 보다는 리더십 개발을 통해서 다른 사람들에게 영향을 줄 수 있는 능력을 가져야 하며, 친구 보다는 가정을 중요시하라는 말씀을 늘 강조하셨습니다.

Personal background

I grew up with the care of parents who based on a deep faith in God. My Father began his career in the education field in his early 20s. My mother punished me harshly whenever I made a fault to guide me steps in the path of righteousness. My father often emphasized "effort rather than excellence", and that I also should have my ability to influence others through the development of leadership skills rather than swaying with the influence of others and prioritize the need of 'family' before 'friends'.

[자신의 성격의 장단점]

좋은 것과 나쁜 것의 구분은 아주 확실할 뿐만 아니라 정직함, 진실성 그리고 정다운 성격은 아버님의 영향을 많이 받은 듯합니다. 또한 하고 싶은 일과, 해야만 하는 일은 구분 지을 줄 압니다. 저는 군대에 있을 동안과 유학시절 동안 많은 고난과 어려움을 겪었습니다. 그러나 그 경험을 통해서 앞에 놓여있는 많은 난제들을 극복할 힘과 자신감을 얻었습니다.

Personality

It seems I took on many of my father's personality traits, such as the ability to distinctively define personal likes and dislikes, as well as an honest, truthful and harmonious nature. I am able to clearly define the difference between needs and wants. I experienced much hardship and difficulties while serving in the army and during the years of my study abroad, but through those experiences, I have gained much confidence and power to overcome many challenges that lay ahead.

대학생활 및 연수생활

대학 1학년 때는 주로 '나 자신' 과 많이 '다른 사람'들과 부딪치고 겪어가면서 넓은 인간관계를 형성하고 유지해 가는데 신경을 썼습니다. 그리고 군 제대 후 복학 바로 전까지의 미국 어학연수 시절은 어학능력 뿐 아니라 집안과 학교울타리에만 갇혀있던 좁은 제 사고와, 세상을 바라보는 눈을 트이게 해주는 소중한 경험이었습니다.

Education

As for the first year of my college experience, I personally emphasized the need to develop and maintain good social relations. I kept an open mind for the different people I encountered, being certain that I would gain new experiences through it. When I was discharged from my military service, I took some time off to travel abroad to the States for English language training before I recommenced into college. I took this chance not only to study English but to broaden my views towards the larger aspects of life.

지원동기

고등학교시절 처음 Pager(삐삐)를 접하게 되었습니다. 그리고 군대를 제대할 무렵부터 Cell Phone(핸드폰)이란 걸 접하게 되었습니다. 그리고 대학 4년과 학원에서의 전반적인 컴퓨터에 대한 교육을 받아오면서, Cell Phone 역시 하나의 작은 컴퓨터라는 것, 그리고 그 작은 컴퓨터의 지금까지의 발전과 또한 앞으로의 무궁무진한 발전 가능성(무선 네트워크의 발전)을 체험하고 듣고, 교육받으며 'Mobile' 에 대한 강한 매력을 느꼈습니다. 이제 졸업과 함께 학교라는 울타리를 벗어나 사회의 일원으로 참여할 때입니다. 저는 진정 귀사에 입사하기를 바라며, 곧 귀하와 토론할 시간을 주신다면 정말 감사하겠습니다. 감사합니다.

Career objective

I first received my own pager (beeper) when I was a high school student. I came in contact with my very first cellular phone upon finishing military service. With my education background in computers, learning about the world of computer technology and its unlimited capabilities led me to realize that a small device such as a cell phone can also be an unbound mobile communication device that can carry out functions similar to that of computers. The outlook of the development of wireless network and the possibilities of its innovations is what hooked by interest to the field of mobile technology.

It is time for me to join in the society, coming out of the wall called "school" as I am graduated from my university. I really hope to work for your esteemed company. I will appreciate you if you give me a chance to talk to you. Thank you very much.
