I am replying to your advertisement for Sales Representative in Korea Herald on Sunday, July 9.

7월 9일(일요일)자 코리아 헤럴드지에 게재된 귀사의 영업 담당직 모집 광고에 응모하고자 서신을 드립니다.

I have been a sales representative for American Electrics, Korea, Inc. for five years and have traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. I speak English and Chinese in addition to my mother tongue of Korean.

저는 이제까지 5년 동안 아메리칸 일렉트릭 한국 지사에서 영업담당으로 있었는데, 그동안 동남아 전역을 널리 돌아봤습니다. 저는 모국어인 한국어는 물론 영어와 중국어도 할 수 있습니다.

I am familiar with all specifications of electrical appliances used in the region and regularly read local trade papers and journals.

동남아시아 지역에서 사용되고 있는 각종 전기 제품의 시방서에도 정통하고, 현지의 업계지 등도 정기적으로 구독하고 있습니다.

I would appreciate meeting with you to discuss my qualifications for this position in detail. I will call you early next week to set up an appointment for an interview.

직접 뵙고 본인의 영업 담당직으로서의 자격에 대해서 자세히 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 면접 일자를 정할 수 있도록 이쪽에서 내주 초에 전화를 드리고자 하오니 잘 부탁드립니다.
