Dad: So Jack made a piece of furniture. He finished it.

JACK: Go ahead, dad. What’s wrong with it?

Dad: Nothing. It’s good. It’s really good. I’m proud of you.

JACK: Thank you.

Dad: But… 근데

JACK: Here we go.

*here we go; said when sth is starting to happen

/ Here we go again!

Dad:  You royally screwed up when it comes to that girl.

* screw up; to do sth badly or spoil sth / I was trying to help, but I screwed up again.

*Mary is all thumbs when it comes to sewing.

JACK: It was a big stupid mistake. The entire marriage was a lie.

Dad: The marriage might have been a mistake, but it was not a lie.
And I think that anybody who has spent time with you two recently
could tell you that. So why don’t you
get your head out of your ass
and go do something about it?
Or should I tell you not to and then maybe you will.

*=Pull your head out of your ass; Stop ignoring the problems around you.

TIPPER: She’s gone, man.

JACK: Gone? What do you mean, gone?

TIPPER: She, like, lost it.  She quit a job, shut off her phone, she took off.
Look, I don’t really care much for you and I wanna cut your friend Hater seriously.
But for some reason you’re like the only man that Joy can actually
be herself with.
So I wanna tell you where she is. I really do. But I just don’t know.

*Give way to violent anger, lose self-control.; lose one's temper, lose one's grip

/ I'm sorry I lost it in your dad's office.

*Act without pretense; be unaffected, sincere. For example, I really enjoy their company

because I can be myself with them.

JACK: What do you know?

TIPPER: I don’t know. If you were miserable and you want to get happy again,
  where would you go?
 What?

JACK: Thank you.

BEAR: Ok. I’ll tell you what. We both go. And that way, when she sees us both,
she can make up her mind who she wants to be with.

.

JACK: I’ve loaned you my band saw and I’ve loaned you my beer tap.

*A beer tap is a valve, specifically a tap, for controlling the release of beer. While in other contexts, depending on location, a "tap" may be a "faucet", "valve" or "spigot", the use of "tap" for beer is almost universal. This may be because the word was originally coined for the wooden valve in traditional barrels. Beer served from a tap is largely known as draught beer, though beer served from a cask is more commonly called cask ale, while beer from a keg may specifically be called keg beer./ beer on tap(맥주통에 달린 꼭지에서 따라 마시는) 생맥주.

BEAR: Do you even know how to drive an automatic?

*drive an automatic transmission car /a manual transmission car (stick shift)
/ Are you familiar with a stick shift?

/I drive an automatic, but I would kill to have a stick again. A stick is like real driving and I miss it so much. I made sure my friends all learned to drive a stick. It seems to me that when buying a used car, stick shifts are cheaper and the engines last longer.

HATER: Give me the keys. Here, sorry. Go get your future ex-ex wife.
