자기도 알다시피 난 늘 글로 내 생각을 더 잘 전달했잖아 conveyed my deepest thoughts much better by writing them down. 자기랑 내가 대화에 어려움을 겪고 있는 관계로 have had such a difficult time communicating with each other 아마 이 방법이 서로를 알 수 있는 방법이 될지도 모르겠어.

난 올빼미 a night owl 라 매일 밤 내 생각을 당신에게 적어 보내면 당신은 일찍 일어나니까 since you are an early bird 매일 일찍 나한테 당신 생각을 써 보낼 수 있잖아. 이렇게 하면 우리를 이 지경까지 몰고 온 문제들 the issues that have brought us to this point 을 해결할 수 있을지도 몰라. 어렵겠지만 적어도 최근에 서로를 겨냥했던 그 모든 좌절과 분노를 피할 수는 있을 거야 at least we would avoid all of the frustration and anger we have been directing at each other lately.

There is a wall between us and it has been slowly built up Nothing would make me happier than to find a way to begin the process of tearing it down.

Please let me know what you think.

I do think your idea might have some merit. Weve tried everything else, haven't we? It is worth a try.

어쩌다가 우리 이 지경까지 됐냐 how did we ever get to this place?

It has become even more noticeable since you turned forty. 그냥 자기가 겪고 있는 게 중년의 위기 some kind of mid-life crisis 라고 생각하고 싶어.

There was a time when you couldn't wait to get home each day to be with me. 이젠 집에도 늦게 오고, 와서도 말 꺼내기 무섭게 다투기부터 하잖아 we hardly say a few words to each other unless we are arguing. You used to do a lot of little things for me. You don't even cuddle with me on the sofa anymore.

결국 자긴 자기 문제를 집까지 가져와서는 나한테 다 분풀이 하는 거야 you bring your problems home and end up taking everything out on me. 나한테 차갑게 대하고 very short with me 우리 사이엔 끔직한 긴장감만 감돌 뿐이야. I have probably said more than enough already. If so, please forgive me.  I am trying to be honest with you.  That's all.
