I have five families. (X)
“우리집은 다섯이야.” 정말 큰일날 소리다. “난 다섯 살림을 차렸다”라는 뜻이니까 큰 소송이 나거나 뼈도 못 추릴 만큼 엄청난 폭탄 선언이다. family는 ‘일가족’이며, ‘식구’는 family member라고 해야한다.

① There are five people in my family.(우리 식구는 다섯 명이야.)
② I have a family of five.(우린 다섯 식구야.)
③ All told, there are five in my family.(우리 식구는 전부 다섯이야.)
④ There are five, including me.(우리집은 나까지 다섯이야.)
